What we support

We provide support for:

  • Connecting Clio to ClioEngage (OAuth setup)
  • Launching Axxiom from matters or contacts
  • Onboarding workflows (AML, KYC, ID verification, forms)
  • Document generation and uploads back into Clio
  • Matter updates (custom fields, notes, status updates)

Common issues

1. Axxiom button not visible in Clio

  • Ensure you have connected ClioEngage via Connect to Clio.
  • Each user must connect individually.
  • If recently connected, refresh Clio.

2. Launch opens but no data appears

  • Check that the matter or contact has a linked client.
  • Ensure required permissions were granted during connection.
  • Try reconnecting your Clio account.

3. Documents not appearing in Clio

  • Confirm the workflow completed successfully.
  • Check the matter’s Documents tab.
  • Allow a few seconds for sync.

4. AML / KYC status not updating

  • Ensure custom fields are configured in your Clio account.
  • Check that ClioEngage has permission to update matters.
  • Contact support if the issue persists.

Data & security

ClioEngage processes client data strictly for onboarding workflows.

  • Data is transmitted securely over HTTPS.
  • We only access data explicitly authorised by the user via Clio.
  • We do not access or store unnecessary firm data.
